Have you ever wondered how to ensure that every time you invest in you and your business, it leads to exponential growth or quantum leap? As an Entrepreneur, we are often investors in our own success. However, not every investment pays off - some drive growth, while others can fall short.

Learning from My Own Mistakes: When Investments Don’t Align

In the early years of building my business, I made couple of bad investments. I’d eagerly sign up for programs, mentors, and courses, thinking, “This is it! This will change everything!” - only to realise that they weren’t what I truly needed. It left me feeling frustrated, lost, and, at times, even resentful. I spent many many things that were out of alignment with my energy and my deeper purpose.

But each of those experiences was a gift. They taught me one of the most valuable lessons I could ever learn - that true investment is not just about money; it’s about soul-healing, frequency + energy and alignment. And as I grew as the truest version of myself, I learned to approach investments from a completely different space - one of clarity, intention, and purpose.

These insights have completely shifted the way I approach to my life and business, and I know they will serve you too.

1. Invest in "How-To" Courses and Mentors

The first type of investment you'll make is in "how-to" courses, programs, and mentors to improve your skills and learn practical strategies, such as building website, building programs, building funnels, running Facebook ads, or developing sales and marketing. Most entrepreneurs have invested in at least one of these types of courses.

But don’t forget: your mindset is just as important as the knowledge you gain.

In the past I often entered courses with the mindset of, “I don’t know how to do this, and this course will show me the exact steps to success.” I expected a blueprint, something I could follow to and that would guarantee my success.

What I didn’t realise back then was that courses can only teach you the "how," not the energy or the right approach needed to make those strategies work. Even the most well-intentioned mentors can’t make those strategies succeed for you—that part has to come from within.

You've probably noticed that two people can follow the same strategy, yet one achieves massive success while the other doesn't. Why? Because the mindset and energy behind the actions are just as important as the actions themselves.

So, approach "how-to" programs with a mindset of exploration and curiosity. View them as opportunities to discover possibilities, rather than strict rules to follow. Take what you learn and adapt it to fit your own unique style and energy. That’s where the magic happens—when you blend the knowledge in a way that aligns with who you are and how you want to run your business.

2. Invest in Energy and Embodiment

You can only grow your business as far as you grow personally—your business will never outgrow you.

Have you ever invested in a mentor or coach, hoping they’d help you with your mindset, energy, or personal development, but found yourself disappointed with the results? Perhaps you entered the program thinking, “This person has something I don’t have, and I need them to give it to me.” I’ve been there. I used to put my mentors on a pedestal, believing they held the key to my success.

But the truth is no mentor or coach can give you what you already have within. You already possess the power and wisdom to succeed. The key is stepping into the energy of the person you wish to become - the powerful entrepreneur, the aligned creator, the confident YOU.

Invest in programs that help you tap into this energy, but do so with the mindset of embodiment. Don’t look to others to fill a gap; work with mentors who guide you to unlock your own greatness. This shift in mindset makes all the difference in how you grow, both personally and professionally.

3. Invest in Implementation (But with the Right Energy)

This type of investment includes hiring team members, bringing on a VA, PR strategist, or outsourcing tasks to free up your energy for the more important aspects of your business.

But - and this is a big but - it only works if you energetically engage in the process.

It’s not enough to simply hand off tasks and expect someone else to “fix” everything for you. That’s the mindset of a victim, thinking, “I don’t have the time or energy, so someone else will take care of it.” This approach will only lead to disappointment.

Instead, see these investments as co-creation. The people you hire or collaborate with are extensions of your energy. You’re not outsourcing your responsibilities; you’re bringing in support to help you bring your vision to life. When you approach it from this empowered mindset, the process will flow effortlessly, and the results will align with your goals.

When you invest in any of these areas, whether it’s a how-to course, personal development, or implementation, approach it with the higher mindset of the powerful that you are.

You’re not looking for someone to fix your problems or hand you the keys to success.

Instead, you’re stepping into the next version of yourself, the one who naturally attracts abundance, success, and growth.

Allow yourself to be guided and held by mentors who reflect the energy you want to embody, but know that the real transformation comes from within. It’s about aligning your actions, mindset, and energy with your goals and desires.

When you invest from a place of confidence and alignment, there’s no limit to what you can achieve. The universal law ensures that you’ll reap 10x or more on your investments when you approach them with the right mindset and energy.

So, as you move forward in your business, I encourage you to reflect on the types of investments you’re making.
